Welcome to the Farm!!
Clay Brook Farm is a 36-acre
certified organic farm located on Old Pump Road along the Jericho/Essex
town line. Clay Brook runs through the farm before flowing
into the Brown's River behind the Old Mill. The property has
been farmed intermittently over the last 140 years and was being
used to raise sheep before being purchased by Bob Hill and Laury
Shea in 1997.
We grow a wide variety of mixed vegetables,
cut flowers and berries. We
sell our produce and cut flowers to restaurants, natural food
stores and at local farmer's
markets. In 1999 we started the C.S.A.
component of our farm. The C.S.A.
has grown to over to over 75 families! Contact us to
inquire about membership for the upcoming season or to get
on our waiting list for next season.
In addition to growing and selling produce, we are developing
our farm into a community resource. Currently we offer
educational field trips for
schools including hayrides and pumpkin picking in the fall and a children's
barnyard. We welcome visitors to enjoy our gardens and
find out more about Clay
Brook Farm.
If you can't visit, then
